I pulled in around 11 or 12 at night to my cottage just south of Tawas city and heard a continuous, what I can only describe is a combination of a howl and a growling high-pitched just broken up by short intervals. Definitely never heard anything in the woods like this before it was extremely loud and I imagine it was coming across Highway 23 there is huge areas of woods just west of my cottage
