It was around 7 pm and I was walking towards the pond in my lower yard and I stopped dead in my tracks as I watched him/her or it walk up the embankment from the stream. It walked about 30' before we made eye contact for a split second and with a blink of the eye it was gone. The only way I could tell what direction it went was the sound it made through the woods and under brush. If u've ever cleared a fence line with a skid-loader or have plowed through trees and thorn bushes, the sound of crushing brush and sticks breaking at a alarming speed. This animal had ran through the thick of under brush that would take us hours to hack through with a machete. I stood there dumbfounded and thought , I didn't know what to think or what just happened. It freaked me out and I went in the house. It was unsettling and questioned my sanity. I was hesitant to go outside for a couple days until I wondered was there tracks or foot prints. It was walking on a cow path that the cattle used to get to their watering hole. Unfortunately, just hoof prints. It was weeks before I told anyone about what I saw and weeks before I went outside after dark. It changed my routine for sometime as I liked to star gaze. So long story short, I made eye contact with bigfoot and we scared the crap out of each other and I don't have proof just my word. Hope this is legible, writing isn't my strong point.
